Package #1: Tomales Bay Sailing Package for Four + Binos & Books

Details: Set sail on Tomales Bay aboard the Tomcat with Captain Brett Miller of Tomales Bay Sailing Tours, and Dr. Sarah Allen, marine biologist for a 3-hour sailing adventure for up to four of your friends + winning bidder will receive binos and books listed below. This dynamic duo (aunt and nephew team) live off the bay and are very experience in guiding, sailing and overall naturalist history of our beautiful Tomales Bay.

The Tomcat, designed by the legendary naval architect Dick Newick is ideally suited to exploring Tomales Bay. With only eighteen ever built (Tomcat is number eight) the Maine Cat 22 is a very rare boat. Unlike a thoroughbred racing catamaran, the Maine Cat 22 is designed to sail flat with both hulls in the water, giving passengers a stable ride. That is not to say that she is slow however, as her long waterlines and narrow hulls allow her to achieve exhilarating speeds of over 15 knots in the right conditions.

Your package includes:

  • A 3-hour sailing tour with safety equipment for four passengers with Captain Brett Miller and Sarah Allen to mutually scheduled and weather permitting.
  • Signed copy: A Field Guide to the Marine Mammals of the Pacific Coast, co-authored by Dr. Sarah Allen
