Volunteers Needed

Join the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin's volunteer team! We have a number of ways for you to get involved with our birding festival, click here

This year the entire festival is taking place at the Dance Palace Community an Cultural Center in downtown Point Reyes Station. We are looking for volunteers to help with setup, registration, our evening programs, and clean up. Additionally, we need some pre-festival help with organizing retail, assembling name badges, and making phone calls to potential and past sponsors to help raise funds for youth and educator scholarships.

We hope you can help us make this year’s festival a great success. We can’t do it without your help!

Of course we have some perks for you this year as well. 

Day/Registration Volunteers: Set of three notecards designed by Daniel Dietrich, EAC Board Member, photographer and proprietor of Point Reyes Safaris, and a complimentary ticket to a field event based on availability

Brews and Bites Volunteers (Friday night): receive complimentary food and beverages, and Paul Bannick’s program.

Happy Hour and Silent Auction Volunteers (Saturday night): receive complimentary beverages during the event, volunteer dinner after shift ends, and access to Julie Zickefoose keynote.

Dinner Volunteers (Saturday night): receive a volunteer dinner and access to Julie Zickefoose keynote.
